Murray/Soares Make It Seven On The Run

Fourth seeds and Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares show no signs of letting up with their rich vein form during the North American summer gathering further momentum on Monday. The British-Brazilian duo won its seventh straight match with a 7-6(4), 6-4 victory over Dutchmen Matwe Middelkoop and Robin Haase to reach the US Open quarter-finals.

The British/Brazilian pair is yet to drop a set in their Flushing Meadows campaign. The 2016 US Open champions have now claimed 11 of their past 12 matches, including titles in Washington, D.C. and Cincinnati leading in. They will bid to reach their first Grand Slam semi-final of 2018 when they meet the unseeded Radu Albot of Moldova and Tunisian Malek Jaziri.
