Roger Federer missed a year at his hometown tournament, the Swiss Indoors Basel, but it looks like he has not missed a step.
The Swiss superstar is nearing his eighth Basel title, battling back from a set down and a break down in the third set to lead fan favourite Juan Martin del Potro by a break in the decider in his attempt to win a tour-leading seventh title this season.
Federer is attempting to extend his lead in the pair’s FedEx ATP Head2Head rivalry to 18-6, and can capture his fifth win in their past six matches.
