Rafael Nadal, the World No. 1, will attempt to earn an unprecedented 11th Coupe des Mousquetaires. But that is not all that is on the line for the Spaniard. To maintain his spot atop the ATP Rankings on Monday, he must defeat Dominic Thiem in Sunday's final.
It will not be easy for the 32-year-old. While Thiem is competing in his first Grand Slam final and is trying to become just the second Austrian to lift a major trophy, he is the only man to defeat Nadal on clay over the past two seasons.
